FAQ - Scooter Rental
Do I need a special license to rent a Vespa or Scooter?
It depends on where you are from.
- EU Citizens: You need a valid Driving License Category A1 or B (Car License).
- Non-EU Citizens (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.): You must present your valid National Driving License AND an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- Important: We need to see the original physical card. Photos or photocopies on your phone are not accepted by law.
Do I need previous scooter experience?
Yes, it is MANDATORY. The Amalfi Coast roads are narrow, curvy, and busy.
For your safety, we may require a short test drive upon pick-up.
IMPORTANT: If you demonstrate that you are unable to drive the scooter safely, we will cancel the rental and NO REFUND will be issued. If you are a beginner, please do not book a scooter; use our Car Parking service instead.

Where do I pick up the scooter?
Our hub is at Parcheggio Positano fratelli Milano, Viale Pasitea 282.
- Scooter Pick-up & Drop-off: Available from 08:30 AM to 08:00 PM (20:00).
- Booking Service Hours: Active from 08:00 AM to 07:00 PM (19:00).
No-Show Policy: Please be punctual. If you fail to show up for your reservation, no refund will be issued.
FAQ - Parking
Do I need to leave my car keys?
It depends on availability. Like most garages in Positano, we normally operate with a valet service to optimize space. However, if there are free spots available upon your arrival, you may be allowed to keep your keys. Otherwise, they will be kept secure in our office.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week from 07:30 AM to 11:30 PM (23:30).
- Standard Rule: You must arrive or collect your car within these times.
- Exception: Car retrieval outside opening hours is available exclusively for customers staying in a hotel in Positano (please arrange this with us in advance).
Is the parking covered?
Yes, our facility is covered and sheltered. Your car will be protected from the hot summer sun and rain, ensuring a cool and safe vehicle upon your return.
What if I book the wrong car size?
Don’t worry. If you arrive with a larger vehicle than booked, you can simply pay the price difference on-site.
Important Policy: Please be aware that if you fail to show up for your reservation (No-Show), no refund will be issued. We recommend booking the correct size to guarantee we have the right space reserved for you.
